The 8-week summer program will provide undergraduates with preparation for doctoral research in literary studies through five main resources:

• A weekly seminar taught by program faculty that guides students in the design, research, and drafting of an independent research paper for use as a writing sample for PhD program admissions
• One-on-one faculty mentorships
• Workshops on preparing for graduate school and professional development
• GRE preparation
• Building community and networking
